We are excited to announce that the 2025 JDS Foundation Scholarship registration is now open!
If you are a 2025 high school graduate who plans to attend a college, university, or trade school, and you reside in Northeast Georgia, this is your chance to apply!
Application Requirements:

Proof of enrollment/acceptance must be provided upon request.

Winterville Elementary Leaders as Readers BHM event
Winterville Elementary School in Winterville, Georgia, hosted its annual Black History Month (BHM) Leaders as Readers event, where community leaders and mentors read to students. We were excited to participate and chose to read The Year We Learned To Fly by Jacqueline Woodson to a kindergarten class. We're looking forward to being part of this event again next year.

Rocksprings Community Giveaway
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our First Annual Community Christmas Event, made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors. We were able to provide a wide assortment of toys and children's clothes. In addition, we were able to gift laptops to several high school students in the community.
